Accent Inns Kelowna

We booked Accent Inns for the convenient location near my brother-in-law's house, the budget-friendly price, and the vouchers for Ricky's All Day Grill - Kelowna. We thought we'd checked the boxes for a simple place to stay, but the experience became part of our Kelowna holiday celebrating his 40th birthday. Our family came home with plenty of memories. From arrival on, the team was friendly and went out of their way to make our girls feel special. We started noticing the brand's playful side too, the cheeky signs and the rubber duckies they give away. The kids collected quite a few, and we adults were impressed as well. It went from somewhere to sleep to an experience. The brand knows who it is and delivers consistently. The customer experience rivals luxury names like Fairmont Hotels & Resorts and Marriott Hotels, because of how they make you feel, not because of lavish properties or five-star amenities. Value isn't always about luxury packaging, and a brand is shaped by intention more than price. We chose the hotel for cost and convenience, but we'd return for the connection. Sometimes the brands that quietly exceed expectations are the most powerful, rubber duckies and all.

The staff were really friendly and helpful, and I loved the ducks! We also enjoyed the breakfast at Rickie's in the parking lot. The rooms were clean and very comfortable, with lots of fun things to do like at their sister property Zed, including FREE bike rentals if you're traveling with kids. The hotel is on the main highway into town, and downtown is a bit of a walk. At 9PM, food choices nearby were a little limited.

Josh checked us in and was AMAZING. We always have a great experience here, with clean rooms and a great location. It really feels like a home away from home.

I stayed on the back side of the Accent Inn, away from the road, and it was super quiet. The room was clean and comfortable, with thoughtful little touches like real coffee cups and a rubber ducky for bath time. Bring your bubbles! They have several environmental initiatives underway to reduce their footprint, which I always appreciate. Shopping and a number of food options are close by, too.
