Econo Lodge Inn & Suites

The staff made being away from home more enjoyable, and I want to thank them. I’ve stayed here a couple of times while working out of town, and they’ve always been amazing, friendly, and helpful. The rooms are clean and have kitchenettes. Breakfast is okay: cereal, apples, coffee, juice, yogurt, and breakfast sandwiches you can heat in the microwave. The location is handy, with a grocery store and liquor store nearby. The gym could use more equipment, but space is limited. The pool and hot tub were clean, with two change rooms that have showers. Not a bad stay if you’re trying to save some money.

The rooms were huge, with kitchens, full-size fridges, pots, pans, and plenty of parking. We also enjoyed the clean, quiet pool and the nice hot tub. I was unsure about the place from the photos and recent reviews, but our stay turned out really nice. Room service has to be requested, and the walls are VERY thin: our neighbors partied until 1am, and we heard every word, chair moving, and shower. Still, we'd definitely stay again.

The room seemed clean in most areas, but finding lots of crumbs and French fries under the couches and beds made us wonder about the rest. During our stay, the cleaning team could have vacuumed those spots more carefully, or at all. Otherwise, it wasn't a bad stay.

On my second visit, the room was 13C when I arrived and only reached 19C by morning. It felt a bit like camping without a tent. The first stay would have earned five stars, except a busload of tourists couldn't do their laundry because the washer was broken for all five days we were there.
