The room was clean and comfortable, with a good bed, a clean bathroom, and blinds that kept it dark in the morning sun. There’s a mini fridge and microwave, and the TV worked well with Netflix and other streaming apps, though you need to sign into your own account. Water pressure was weak, and there was no coffee in the room. I booked through Expedia, where the hotel was listed with a pool and continental breakfast. Both the pool and kitchen were closed during renovations, and I wish I’d known before checking in so we could plan breakfast. I’d stay again after the renovations are finished. For now, it’s a clean, budget friendly place with friendly staff, within walking distance of restaurants and grocery stores.

The room itself was great, and the staff at the front door were good, but the other parts of the stay let us down. When we arrived, there were only two sheets of toilet paper left on the roll. The hot water was only warm, even after they tried to fix it. Renovations were underway, but that wasn’t disclosed before we booked. The pool and fitness centre listed on the site were both closed, there was no ice machine, and there was no room service during our three days there. We raised our disappointment and weren’t offered any compensation. More openness about the situation would have helped. I’m sure it may be nice in the future, but it isn’t there yet.

After a rough experience at another hotel earlier that day, Mike at the front counter really turned things around. The hotel was clean and the customer service was great. If Mike helps you, that’ll be the cherry on top of your vacation. I’ll definitely stay here again.

It was my first time booking here and I had a good stay. The room was clean and quiet, the bed was comfortable, and the location was perfect. The staff were really friendly. I’d happily come back and recommend it.

The room wasn’t stocked well. I asked for extra towels and body wash, but they still didn’t bring them, and the service was below average. The listing said there was a pool and fitness centre, but both were closed when we arrived. The hotel only messaged me after the refund period had passed, and wouldn’t offer a discount or any other option while those facilities were closed. I would not stay here again.
