Stirling House Bed & Breakfast

Eron and Mario were so accommodating when my mom and I booked at the last minute. The location made it easy to walk to both the hospital and the lake or park, and the B&B had a lot of charm, with its antique and historic details. For an older house, it was clearly well cared for, and everything was clean and tidy. We booked the bosc room for its private bathroom. Both the room and bathroom were much larger than we expected, the bed and sheets were super comfortable, and there was always hot water. Breakfast was great too, with generous portions and fresh fruit. We were impressed with our room, breakfast, and Eron and Mario, especially for what we paid. Thanks for a great stay!

Breakfast was served in the dining area with lovely table settings, soft music, good coffee, and delicious food and fruit. There was also self-serve coffee, tea, oatmeal, and cereal available. Eron and Mario were helpful with ideas for local restaurants, shops, and wineries. The Clairgeau room had its own bathroom, with a beautiful clawfoot tub and nice toiletries. We had a chaise lounger, a desk, a mini fridge that was perfect for wine, plus a dresser, closet, and luggage storage. Waters, menus, and glasses were set out in a basket on the desk. The bed and linens were so comfortable, especially for an afternoon nap after wine tastings. We also really liked the quiet, well-appointed location in Pandosy Village. The heritage home is beautifully designed, with original features that made it feel cozy. Eron and Mario's gracious, friendly welcome made our four-night stay a ten-star experience. We felt cared for and truly relaxed at Stirling House. We desperately needed that getaway, and the stay was the highlight. We've told friends about it and hope to see Eron and Mario again soon. We came to Kelowna for medical care at Kelowna Hospital, and Stirling House is just a few steps away. The free parking on site was a real gift in what must be one of Kelowna's busiest, most congested neighborhoods. We've stayed here three times and had the same main floor room each time, so it feels like a home away from home. Eron and Mario are delightful, and both the hospitality and accommodation have been exceptional. Stay here and you'll be glad you did!

The location is fabulous, and I'd recommend Stirling House for a stay in Kelowna. I felt welcome as soon as I was greeted at the door, and Eron checked over the next couple of days' menu with me to make sure I had no allergies or concerns. My room was spacious and full of character, with a very comfortable bed and plenty of pillow choices. The house was decorated beautifully for Christmas, which put me in the holiday spirit right away. I wish I'd had time to sit in the lovely living room with some hot tea and the music in the background. At breakfast I was welcomed with fresh orange juice and a delicious yogurt with lemon and coconut. The table looked beautiful, and the crepes were so good. They came with fresh berries, orange segments, banana, whipped cream, maple syrup, and sausages. I tried, but couldn't finish it all!
