Hyatt Place Kelowna

Our room was beautiful and clean, and the hotel staff were professional and friendly. We stopped at the hotel bar for a drink, but Pam was such a welcoming, refreshing server that we ended up staying all night. One thing to keep in mind if you book through Expedia: its photos make the hotel look like it’s at the waterfront, but it’s nowhere near the water.

We come to the Hyatt Place Kelowna several times a year. The hotel is clean, and the staff are professional and helpful. Himmi at the front desk deserves a special mention. He recognizes us, is always friendly and accommodating, and treats us very well. His service is a big reason we keep coming back.

The staff were friendly and the suite was clean, but it was very small for the price. I was fine with the deposit, but they reversed the full bill plus the deposit, then charged another bill to my card. In effect, my card was charged three times the room amount, and it sounds like the money won’t come back until sometime after the holidays. It would’ve been easier to just refund the deposit.

The room was spacious and very comfortable, and the bathroom was nice. I had a large SUV, so I parked in the oversized vehicle area. I booked through airmiles, and the staff were wonderful. Breakfast was the one letdown. All the hot food was cold, too much was put out at once, and the lids on the pots were cumbersome. I’d stay again.
