The Royal Kelowna

I had a terrible experience at The Royal Kelowna. I strongly suggest checking your room before leaving, because in my case, items left behind were reportedly thrown away, and the hotel gave me no reason to trust how they were handled. About an hour after checkout, I realized I’d forgotten my premium toiletries: L'Occitane shampoo, face wash, body lotion, shower oil, and Gucci perfume. I called the hotel right away and spoke with Ethan, the manager, who promised to call me back. No one did. When I called again myself, I was told the items had been “thrown away.” I find that hard to believe for clearly expensive personal belongings only an hour after a guest checked out, and it felt incredibly suspicious. I can’t help wondering whether staff kept them. The Manager of Guest Services was rude and unhelpful, and refused to take responsibility for the staff’s actions. Even after acknowledging their own “mistake” in discarding a guest’s expensive property, they showed no accountability and made no effort to put things right. The hotel showed a lack of basic integrity, proper housekeeping procedures, and decent customer service. Absolute thieves. Avoid it if you value your belongings and expect professional service.

We had a wonderful time and will absolutely return. The staff were warm, professional, and incredibly accommodating. Our rooms were spacious and comfortable, with plenty of room for family and friends. Beautiful property, unbeatable location, and exceptional service. Highly recommend.

My family loved the hospitality at Royal Kelowna, and we’re already planning our next family reunion. The lake view from the rooftop pool and hot tub is breathtaking, and the property is hands down the most beautiful. For us, this is the only place to stay in Kelowna. Thanks for another great visit!

The rooms were spotless and had everything needed for a comfortable stay, however long you’re there. The hotel is gorgeous, with an excellent rooftop pool and hot tubs. It’s also in a great spot for good food, drinks, and boutique shopping. I’d definitely stay again.
