For $230 on a summer long weekend, I expected a much cleaner room. The linens didn’t feel fresh, and the place felt dirty overall. They supplied shampoo, soap, and toilet paper, but there were no hand towels or paper towels. The water pressure was so low that washing my hands and showering were both a struggle. The bathroom was shared with the next room, which happened to be empty, despite being advertised as private. There was no fridge, TV, or anything else in the room, just in the common lounge on each floor. Free Wi-Fi was the only decent part. It’s a long way from downtown, and there are better hotels for that price. Reception staff were rude and unprofessional.

Beautiful place, with amazing architecture. The people were friendly, parking was top notch, and getting around UBC was easy thanks to the directions.
