Golden Prairie Lodge

My crew enjoys staying here more than I do, but for a small town it has everything you need.

After more than a month here for work, I’ve got no complaints. Coming back from a 12-hour shift to find the AC already on and the room cool is great. They clean every two days, and if I’ve left clothes on the bed, they fold them. I asked about laundry because of my long shifts, and the staff were happy to take care of it. They’ve all been great, and I appreciate it. The room’s a good size, the internet works, the fridge is roomy, and the bed is really comfortable. There’s also a BBQ outside you can use anytime, and the convenience store and gas station are almost right outside the door. The buildings are pretty soundproof, too. It’s a great place to be when you’re away from home. I’d stay here long term for work again, or stop for a night. Thanks, you guys are awesome. Keep it up!

I ended up needing a room overnight because of a snowstorm, and the front desk staff were amazing. They held one for me while my brother had to cancel his booking at another hotel. The rate was exactly what was advertised. The room was warm despite being in a trailer, and the size was just right. It had a microwave, shower, internet, and TV, and the bed was comfortable. I’d recommend staying here even if you’re only passing through.

The rooms are great, like the camp rooms in Fort Mac.
