Delta Hotels by Marriott Kingston Waterfront

The kids had a place to play mini sticks, and we all enjoyed the pool and hot tub. The food was delicious, too. We came from Newmarket for a hockey tournament this past weekend, and the rooms were excellent. Housekeeping kept them spotless and well stocked every day. Parking worked out fine, although coordinating a big group of parents took some effort. Thanks for the warm hospitality. We hope to return in the warmer months.

Katya at the front desk went way out of her way to help us recover my husband’s phone. We’d already left when he realized it was in the robe, and although we couldn’t reenter the room, staff said they’d call if it turned up. We later used Find My iPhone and saw it was still at the hotel, so we called again. Katya moved our call to her mobile, went to the laundry room, and followed the alarm until she found it. We were so grateful for her effort and care. The stay itself was special from the start. Delta by Marriott Kingston welcomed us with wine and macarons for my husband’s birthday. Before dinner at Aquaterra, which was amazing, we had the pool to ourselves and the girls had a blast. We swam again the next day before checkout. We had a wonderful staycation and will definitely return to Delta on the waterfront. Highly recommend!

We booked several rooms together for a family vacation, and they were all clean and in good condition. The rooms were quiet, with no noise from the neighbors, and every one had a great view. The central location made most attractions walkable. It was about a 10-minute walk to Slush Puppy arena for the hockey game. I’d stay here again.

My son had booked a nice waterfront room for Sunday Feb 22-23, 2026, but couldn’t use it because of a medical emergency. His mother became seriously ill and was taken to hospital by ambulance the night he was meant to travel from Toronto to Kingston. He’d been up all night, so I drove him to Kingston the next morning and he needed to sleep in the car. I went to the hotel around 11 am, before the room’s noon availability ended, and explained what had happened. I wasn’t asking for a refund, just a credit since he would need to return for a much longer stay. The receptionist checked with the manager, then told me nothing could be done because the day had passed. I understand the 48-hour cancellation policy, but thought an exception might be reasonable in these circumstances, especially with a longer future booking. Even 50% off one night, or something similar, would have helped. The hotel seemed deserted, with nobody in the lounge or restaurant, and the parking lot wasn’t full, so I doubted it was fully booked. The manager never came out to speak with me, despite being told about the serious hospital emergency. I politely said I was shaking my head in disbelief and that my son would hear about how we’d been treated, which could cost them his planned long stay. Only then did the receptionist suggest he call the manager, once she realized they could lose more revenue. I thought I was being fair. Keep this in mind when booking with this hotel or chain. If you have a heart attack and can’t keep your reservation, you may be out of luck. I also wasn’t impressed by the lobby or dining room. They didn’t seem very luxurious to me, and the reservation desk was in an odd spot off the parking garage. My first impression was walking through a garage to enter the property.
