Best Western Laval-Montreal

The staff were exceptional, breakfast was good, and the location worked well. Our room, 201, was very clean and the beds were comfortable enough, but it felt dark and claustrophobic. We asked to move and were told there were no other rooms with two separate beds. The shower temperature kept swinging from extremely cold to hot enough to burn someone. The window looked into the interior atrium, right above the breakfast area, so we heard everything during busy mornings and when hockey parents partied late, enough to interrupt our sleep. For the price, I wouldn't book this particular room again.

The breakfast was very good, and the staff were good too. There happened to be a team staying together that day, so it got a little noisy. The hotel was decent overall, though better sound insulation would help.

I come to Montreal often, and this hotel feels like home. Walking through the front door, I was welcomed right away with warmth and great customer service. Thanks to Bani and Vicky, they both made my day.

I couldn't get a decent night's sleep. The walls were so thin I heard the hallway and other rooms all night. The bathroom smelled bad, the water pressure was terrible, and the furniture was dusty with stains on the bedsheets. The online photos were completely misleading, and even the basic amenities seemed poorly maintained. When we reported the problems, the staff seemed uninterested in helping. For what we paid, this was unacceptable. I wouldn't recommend it to anyone wanting comfort or quality.
