For our one-night stop, we couldn't have asked for more. It's a no-frills roadside motel, as other reviews say, but the room was super clean and the staff were very accommodating. Everyone from registration in the little convenience store to the restaurant and room staff was helpful.

A very good motel, with a gas station, convenience store, and restaurant right on site. Our room was at the back, so it was quiet.

Everything else was fine, but bring your own soap and shampoo, and ask for an even-numbered room. Checkout is at 11, yet someone came to clean before 9 while we were still there. Nobody had warned us, and it was really unpleasant.

We stopped for takeout on Monday, April 14, 2025, between 13h00-14h00. The black-haired waitress who took our order didn't smile at all and seemed very annoyed with us, even though there was only one other customer in the restaurant. I sensed racism. With that kind of behavior, I'm not sure how she expects to get a nice tip.

It's a motel right on the main road, which is to be expected, and the price was good. The room was surprisingly clean and renovated, and perfectly fine for a day or two. It's a good location to start a trip at lac saint jean. The restaurant right in front serves a good-value breakfast, with quick, friendly staff.
