It worked for a cheap overnight stop, but I wouldn’t call it a great place to stay. The room was clean and had a TV box and kitchenette, plus a tiny shower with hot water and good pressure. I did have about five flies in the room, though, and spent most of the stay trying to kill them. It made me feel gross. My room was beside the restaurant and the stairs to the second floor, and there was a loud group of men going in and out until 4am. I didn’t feel very safe at night. The check-in desk is in an odd spot, though the person there was friendly. The location is convenient if you just need somewhere to sleep before getting back on the road.

The outside of this older motel had me unsure at first, but the rooms turned out to be fantastic. They were clean, and both the beds and the huge pillows were comfortable.

I booked through booking.com six weeks ahead and secured the reservation with my credit card. Both booking.com and the motel confirmed it. When I arrived today, they told me they’d given my room away. The motel representative was incredibly rude, kept saying they were full and it wasn’t his problem, and dismissed the explanations I was given as false. I was traveling from Uk and asked where I was supposed to go. His answer was still that it wasn’t his problem. The rodeo is on this weekend, so I assume he sold my room for more. Absolutely disgusting. Avoid this place at all costs. Just wow.

I’ve stayed in two rooms here, and both smelled like cigarettes. The room was mostly clean, but I found someone else’s hair on the comforter, so I’m not sure how often the sheets and blankets are washed. Definitely not my first choice, or even my last.

I’m still here, but wanted to say thanks before I leave. The rooms are really neat and nicely kept, and the service has been good. It’s the best motel I’ve seen so far. The two girls I met were very kind and hardworking. Thank you for a really good stay.
