Canalta Olds

The good people at the Olds Ramada made our basketball team feel like family this weekend. Thanks for the friendly welcome and great customer service. All the best!

We were here for a hockey tournament nearby and had a comfortable weekend. The hotel was reasonably clean, though some guests kept leaving disposable coffee cups in the elevator. The kids enjoyed the pool, but several cut their feet on the bottom near the slide. Breakfast was the usual spread: juice, coffee, cereal, powdered scrambled eggs, sausage, and a pancake maker. The outdoor block-heater outlets were unreliable, with some power dropping out and others not working at all. For guests with electric vehicles, they might consider adding a couple of destination chargers or a few 240V 14R50 outlets for level 2 charging, even with a small extra fee.

Those three nights were made by the staff. Everyone was welcoming, helpful, and so kind, always with a big smile. Best hotel service I’ve had.

The breakfast was AWESOME, and parking was great. The hotel’s also really close to all the amenities. We’re here for two nights and are having a lovely time. The front desk staff have been incredibly sweet and helpful, the rooms are clean and cozy, and even the little soaps are adorable. And that waterslide? Actually really fun for adults too, lol.
