Best Western Of Olds

I got stranded on the way to Edmonton in a snowstorm, so I checked in last night. There was a man in the lobby without shoes and with two unleashed dogs. At breakfast the next morning, he was still there on the couch with the dogs, speaking loudly to a staff member about some kind of spiritual rapture. The staff member was sitting with him. I felt very unsafe and uncomfortable throughout the stay. Getting to the hotel was difficult too. A school bus was parked across the front, and I had to park far away and carry my suitcase over big snowbanks because the sidewalk hadn’t been cleared. My key didn’t work, so they assigned me another room, where the toilet kept running. If you’re a woman traveling alone and safety matters to you, stay somewhere else.

The breakfast had plenty of healthy options, and the rooms were clean and made up each day. We were here with our hockey team, and the staff were really friendly to everyone, including the boys. I’d definitely recommend this hotel.

Breakfast was a highlight, with fresh eggs cooked to order, bacon, sausage, and lots of other choices. Najma looked after us like a mom and made sure we were well fed. The place was also very clean and quiet. We’ll stay again.

Our team was in town for a tournament, and the staff at Best Western of Olds made sure there was lots of breakfast food ready each morning. Everyone was so welcoming and helpful. The rooms were clean, and although the pool is being renovated, they covered the cost for us to go bowling or swimming in town. Thanks for the hospitality, we’d come back!
