Cheryl brought two steaming mugs of fresh coffee to our door in the morning, such a lovely touch. We skipped breakfast this time, but the kitchen smelled amazing. The beds were incredibly comfortable, and everything was spotless with a cozy feel. Cheryl is a wonderful, accommodating host. We’ll definitely come back, and highly recommend it.

It’s easy to get to, and there are lovely mountain views in the distance. We stayed here while visiting family in Magrath, just a 10-minute drive away. Cheryl was attentive to what we needed in her home, and we had a great, pampered stay. Don’t skip breakfast, it was well worth it. We look forward to booking again next time.

We were grateful to find this gem in Raymond. The long weekend at Gemstone Guest House and B&B felt like a real vacation. Cheryl had thought of what we might need, from fresh towels to the extra drawer and closet space that meant I didn’t have to live out of a suitcase. The rooms were very clean and well designed, and felt like home. Breakfast was generous and tailored to our tastes and schedule after Cheryl asked about our preferences. She’s a skilled cook, with great timing and presentation, and seemed able to accommodate any kind of diner. Thank you, Cheryl, for such a lovely stay.

The big room was quite inexpensive for what you get, and that giant jetted tub was a real treat. In the evening there was a selection of tea, and the owner was pleasant and accommodating. Breakfast was included: Eggs Benedict with authentic Hollandaise sauce, cooked to the standard of a fine Calgary restaurant. Altogether, a great experience.
