The best part was that after checkout, the manager left a room open for us so we could relax and freshen up before our evening ferry to Vancouver. We got back from hiking and other activities, made tea in the room kitchen, used the washrooms, and had time to rest before heading out. The location is convenient, the setup is beautiful, and the management and service are very friendly. My wife and children loved the breakfast, with plenty of delicious choices. The rooms are decent and clean, though ours had a bit of a musty smell, which I think may have been from the sea breeze. It looked clean, but we asked for fresh bed sheets, and they changed them without hesitation. The manager also suggested a great restaurant and some good sights. I’d recommend this hotel.

We enjoyed a snowy Valentine's weekend and would certainly stay again. The owners were helpful, kind, and very courteous, and there was plenty of parking. It's a quick getaway spot with a nice vibe, most amenities, and clean rooms that smell fresh. You can walk from the central town.

The manager was very nice, the location worked perfectly for us, and Room 207 had a lovely view. It’s a difficult place to rate because this is an older hotel that needs some care. We stayed five nights, but our room was checked only once, and we had to ask for more coffee and fixings. Most of the hotel is rented long term to locals, so there were lots of loud late night conversations in the parking area.

We got to check in early yesterday. The room was dated, but clean, comfortable, and equipped for what we needed. The staff and other guests were friendly. Breakfast was fine and included, and the coffee was good. We'd definitely stay here again.
