April kept everything moving efficiently and accurately, bringing all the food and drinks to the table, and was very attentive. We came for dinner with a large group and were really impressed. My fish tacos were delicious, and the portions were generous without being too much. The calamari was light and crispy with great flavor. There were lots of menu choices for different tastes and dietary needs. Everyone’s food looked good, and judging by the comments, tasted good too. The room felt peaceful, with cozy, inviting décor, so dinner was a lovely experience. I’d recommend The Cannery to anyone looking for a great meal.

Amanda at the front desk really went out of her way to make us comfortable, and the hotel staff were friendly. The room was clean and very comfortable, but the soundproofing was basically nonexistent. We could hear people in neighboring rooms. Bring your own snacks, since the hotel’s snack bar was limited and very expensive. We ate at the Canary in the hotel. The food was acceptable, nothing special, and the servers were okay but didn’t make the meal feel like an experience. The famous Double Tree cookies were amazing, though!

There’s a really good restaurant here, and the rooms are new and comfortable. It’s a nice property with modern amenities, and we stay regularly. The rooms are generally tidy, though housekeeping could improve the stay. Cleaners open the deadbolt and let it slam into the frame over and over as they go in and out. The noise carries through the room and shakes the headboard, making sleep impossible even with earplugs. Giving everyone a doorstop and making sure they use it would immediately earn another star from me. It would also help to remind staff to keep their voices down when talking to each other, especially in an adjoining room. With that, comfort here could be 5/5.

April was a star at The Cannery. She worked with the chef and went far beyond what was needed to accommodate my significant dietary restrictions, making sure I could enjoy a fabulous meal and a wonderful dinner. We stayed at this property for two nights and were very impressed. The hotel has been updated, and the staff are strongly focused on guests. The GM clearly cares about excellent customer service.
