For anyone heading to Kirkland Lake for work or snowmobiling, there's plenty of trailer parking and easy access to local trails. The Prospectors Inn also stays peaceful despite being near the highway, and I slept well without the hallway noise you get at bigger chains. My suite felt like an apartment, with lots of room and a full kitchen: stove, full-size fridge, and microwave. That was handy for saving on meals and would work well for a longer stay. The room was spotless and recently updated, with fresh, crisp linens. Staff were friendly and accommodating, and the place has a family-run feel where they care about your experience. Whether you're working as a contractor or exploring Northern Ontario, it's good value. Much more comfortable than a cramped motel room, and I'll definitely stay again.

We were able to have a family meal in the room thanks to the full kitchen, and there was lots of space. Everything was clean. The staff were friendly and very honest, too. I left jewelry in our first room, and they brought it back to me in our second room. I appreciated that most of all!

The price was very reasonable, and the room felt like a two-bedroom apartment. The Inn was clean, too. We've traveled all across Canada, and this was easily the best place we stayed. We'd happily stay there again.

Our suite was spacious, clean, and quiet while we were in Kirkland Lake to see family and watch a hockey tournament. We enjoyed being here and are looking forward to coming back.

I paid under $100 for the night, and I'd recommend this Inn. The room was a clean, well-working suite with a full-size stove and fridge, living area, small dining table, two bedrooms, and a bathroom. The bed was comfortable. If I'm nitpicking, I would've liked one more pillow, but I normally sleep with three instead of two, so that's on me. Prospectors Inn doesn't operate like every other hotel, since it's not staffed around the clock. Still, it's a clean and quiet place, and someone is a phone call away if there's an issue. I didn't have any.
