The bus stop right outside made getting around easy. Bus 76 runs from St Foy train station toward the airport, and I could take the bus downtown too. The hotel is also near a park, restaurants, shops, and a grocery store. I was in Quebec for the first time and stayed three nights. It’s a small, clean, comfortable place, and the staff were friendly and ready to help with information. I was nervous about getting to the airport at 2 a.m., but director Marie arranged the worry away: a taxi cost only $13 then. During the day, I’d have needed the bus. Breakfast for all guests was a nice surprise. If I get back here, I’m pretty sure I’ll stay again. I’ve already told friends about it.

The staff made us feel welcome and were helpful, and breakfast had plenty to choose from. We had a spacious, comfortable room with a king bed, plus a recently renovated bathroom. Very satisfied with the stay.

The room was comfortable and clean, and the front desk attendant was friendly and spoke good English. The shower water pressure could have been better.

We’d just stayed at the Comfort Inn in Montreal two days earlier, and everything there had been good apart from the carpet smell. That left us unsure about this Comfort Inn, too. Happily, we were given a newly renovated room with wooden floors, and it was very good. If carpet flooring is a concern for you, I’d call ahead and ask which room you’ll be assigned.

Breakfast was a highlight. You can make your own waffles, either plain or blueberry, and there were also fried eggs, bacon, bread, yogurt, coffee, juice, and more. I was happy with it. Our room had a king bed and was nice, with a pretty clean bathroom and shampoo and conditioner provided, though no body wash. The hair dryer’s airflow was quite weak. The friendliness seemed to vary between the morning and night shifts. Still, a great stay, and I’d come back next time I’m in the area.
