Bel Air Tremblant

The large windows, lovely view, and hot tub made our two nights at Bellair Tremblant feel like a real getaway. Having two bedrooms also meant my wife and I could bring our child and still have some privacy. It was good value overall, and we’d happily come back, now that we know to pack extra pillows. A few things could have been better. The pillows arrived without cases, and we never got any. The entrance area was very icy, the bed was so firm my back noticed, and a larger, more comfortable bed would help. We stopped by the clubhouse a few times and ate breakfast and dinner at Le Bistro. The food was genuinely delicious, though service moved slowly, with long waits for drinks and food and little follow-up. The drinks weren’t as good as the meals. The dome looks great in photos, but I would have liked a wood-burning fireplace for a cozier Tremblant feel. Some small ideas: speakers in the units, maybe Alexa; letting guests bring their own drinks to the clubhouse or fire area; and individual fire pits for each rental. Ours was shared, wasn’t clean, and it wasn’t clear what the wood situation was. Better ice control around the entrances would help too.

My wife and I had an extraordinary visit. Everything was beautiful, and all the amenities were working superbly. The staff were welcoming and helpful, especially Bilal. When bad weather left our car stuck, they were quick to help and always available by phone. It was our first visit, but we’ll surely be back. Thanks for the great service!

The room was lovely and comfortable, and Louis helped us sort out an issue during our stay. But we booked one night for nearly $700 largely to use the amenities, and the sauna barely heated up and had no lights inside. With check-in at 4:00 PM, sunset soon after, and checkout at 10:00 AM, it wasn’t clear when we could use it. Sitting in complete darkness didn’t feel safe or reasonable. We felt brushed off when we raised the problem. Since a key amenity wasn’t usable for the price we paid, we expected some accommodation or discount, but weren’t offered one. Getting through to reception was also difficult. Every time we called, we waited on hold for 10-15 minutes, including at check-in after a full day of skiing, when we were exhausted and trying to find our unit. When someone finally answered, the tone felt dismissive and unwelcoming. We enjoyed brunch, but our order was taken incorrectly, and one dish came so late that we cancelled it. The property and room were lovely, but the amenities and service didn’t match what we paid.

The Deluxe Instagram Dome was beautiful, and we really enjoyed the property. What made our stay especially good was Carl’s help. Our reservation had us assigned to the wrong dome, and another couple had booked the one we expected. Carl handled it calmly, professionally, and with a focus on finding a solution that worked for everyone. Thanks to him, the stay was stress-free and very enjoyable. Highly recommend!
