Guylaine, the owner of the 500 Richelieu Art Gallery, took great care to show me around. I learned a lot about the artists’ different styles and creative processes. The gallery is surprisingly spacious and displays work by 40 Quebec artists, each with a distinctive style. It has a second floor, and parking is available at the edge of Richelieu Street. If you’re into art, take the time to stop by.

Watching the sunrise from my patio door was lovely, and the river view from the room was superb. The place is clean, quiet, and well located near the Casino. The owners are welcoming, too. My only gripe: those shampoo bottles are hard to open in the shower.
