The grounds were a real highlight, with a big backyard, a pond, and plenty of places to sit and take in the scenery. Getting around from Ancestral Knowlton was easy, and our room was very clean with fresh towels each day. Peter and Yvonne made us feel at home and had great suggestions for things to do nearby. Peter also made a generous, delicious homemade breakfast every morning. We had a lovely stay and would happily visit again, 10/10.

The rooms were roomy and spotless, and the breakfasts were outstanding. Peter and Yvonne, the new owners of Ancestral Knowlton B&B, made us feel as if we were staying with friends. I’ve stayed at lots of B&Bs, and this is one of the best. I’ll definitely come back. Enjoy!

We spent three nights at Ancestral Knowlton B&B and are already thinking about coming back soon. Yvonne and Peter were so warm and welcoming, and they gave us maps and suggestions for places to see and things to do nearby. Our “romantic” room was clean and nicely decorated, with an exposed stone wall and a door opening onto the gorgeous yard and pond. The beautiful farmhouse also has a fantastic covered deck where we enjoyed a wonderful breakfast. We highly recommend it.

There was so much to choose from in Knowlton and nearby, from shops and activities to great restaurants, that it was hard to fit everything into our limited time. We spent the morning at Windrush Boutique, browsed Brome Bookstore, then had lunch at Buzz. At the accommodation, the three of us appreciated having private rooms, each with a separate washroom and direct access outside. Yvonne was a gracious hostess, and Peter cooked wonderful breakfasts. At our request, they also made a phenomenal gourmet dinner. Our only regret is not being able to stay longer. We’ll definitely be back.

My girlfriend and I had a really nice, cozy stay in a cute renovated double room. Breakfast was included, and the total was 108$ cad tax in, so what more could you ask for? It’s central to everything and close to the ski resorts in the eastern townships. Definitely recommend it. Just remember it’s a bed and breakfast, so you need to be comfortable socializing.
