I was disappointed by the cold pool, the shut-off hot tub, and the closed restaurant. The rooms smelled bad, and the clerk didn't understand English. If you do stay, try for a second floor room, even if it costs more. Those rooms seem to get used less and are cleaner than the first floor ones.
The doors don't lock properly, so someone could potentially walk into your room. The hotel also has widespread mold and mildew, and it smells awful. Service was horrible, the owner doesn't speak English, and the restaurant is permanently closed.
When I arrived, my room card was just waiting for me and nobody was there. It felt like being in The Shining. Booking was difficult too, since the person taking the reservation struggled with English. The restaurant is closed, and the door bolt doesn't work.
A man walked into my room at 5 AM, then left, and it scared the crap out of me. The stay was already extremely uncomfortable: the room was dated, with strange ceiling stains running down the wall to the floor. The old tube TV had a line across it that kept annoying me. I'd never stay there again.
The room smelled really unpleasant, and the Wi-Fi didn't work at all, just dial-up speeds. They shouldn't advertise free Wi-Fi. I wish LDB had another option.
