The pool was out of service during our stay because the HVAC company came back several times but couldn't fix the air exchanger. They made up for the missing amenity with a buffet breakfast: eggs, hash browns, sausages, ham or bacon each morning, plus bread, bagels, pastries and a top tier waffle station with real whipped cream and berry compote. The organic coffee was a huge win for me. Housekeeping was also amazing and readily brought anything we needed replaced. We stayed at the Ramada in Lac La Biche from Jan 20th until Feb 4th, while we came down to have our baby with our midwife, who is based out of Lac la biche. The staff made my husband, our children and me feel so welcome, and told us to let them know if they could help with anything. Our room was clean and the beds were extremely comfortable. When the baby arrived, they gave us a beautiful card and our other children little goodie bags to take home. We'll remember the staff and our stay there forever.

The pool was the highlight: plenty of room to swim, a quite large hot tub, and a waterslide that rips. My room was nice and clean, and the shower worked great. Breakfast wasn't anything special, but it's free, so I can't really complain. Hedwig at the desk was super friendly and helpful. That guy deserves a raise.

Our hockey team booked the Ramada for its pool and slide, but the pool was closed and we weren't told until check-in day. The rooms were spacious, though. Other hotels were $60 cheaper per night, and no discount was offered. The kids were extremely disappointed.

Breakfast felt like a mini buffet, with lots of fresh, tasty choices for different tastes, and was a great start to the day. The hotel was spotless, from the lobby through the rooms, and clearly well cared for. The staff made the biggest difference for me: warm, professional, friendly, and always making an extra effort to help me feel welcome and comfortable. I couldn't ask for a better stay. I'll be back and will recommend it to friends and family. Thanks for a memorable visit!
