Lacombe Motor Inn

There’s a restaurant and bar on site. My room was clean, comfortable, and well equipped, and the whole stay was better than I expected.

A hole in the wall, in the best way, and a fun place to enjoy with friends. I was referring to the lounge, of course. Hope to see it again when I have more time.

Don’t let the exterior or the older hallways and decor put you off. The rooms are updated, very comfortable, and very clean. The staff were welcoming, friendly, and extremely helpful, and the price is hard to beat. We just needed somewhere to sleep after a long day, and it worked perfectly. If I’m back in town for another baseball tournament, I’ll book here without hesitation.

I used to come here for a social drink with friends and family, but I won’t return. The bar and front desk areas were always freezing, and staff had to wear heavy winter jackets with nothing they could do about it. I also saw the new manager abuse staff when he thought nobody was looking. He tries to nickel and dime guests with bogus room charges, has no respect for guest or patron privacy, and is rude and disrespectful without cause. The place badly needs an overhaul and new management. The staff, on the other hand, were more often than not a pleasure to deal with.
