We loved the water view and the room was nicely furnished, with a good ensuite bathroom. Evelyn and her partner made us feel welcome. The gourmet breakfast crepes were wonderful, so do try them. We’d definitely recommend staying at the Coastal Lavender Bed and Breakfast.

We were in the Chemainus area for a wedding and booked the large room with two queen beds at Coastal Lavender. It was spotless and well appointed, and Kay and Evelyne made us feel right at home. Evelyne’s sweet and savory crêpes were a lovely extra. We’d happily recommend the place and hope to come back.

Breakfast was delicious, especially the crepes served in the dining room with its view across the bay. Evelyn and Kay were generous, friendly hosts, and the accommodation was excellent.

A great spot for an island getaway, with modern comforts and welcoming hosts who really try to make things pleasant. The BnB has a comfortable feel with a bit of European flair.
