South Shore Motel

I’d love to come back in summer to enjoy the river and lake. We stayed with my son for a hockey tournament, and the place was gorgeous, with the arena next door and town within walking distance. The rooms had been beautifully renovated, with delightful decor, and everything felt brand new and spotless. Our host was extremely responsive and accommodating.

The room was small, but very clean, and the place was nice and quiet. What really made it stand out was the customer service. I left behind an item that mattered to me only for sentimental reasons, and they went above and beyond to get it back to me. The best!

The owner was great, and we’d stay here again. We were pleasantly surprised by the recently renovated rooms, which are really nice. It isn’t on the lake, but it’s very close. We also loved how quiet it was, tucked by a little wooded area instead of facing a main street.

I’d never been to the Lake Cowi area before and was happy to find how close this little motel is to the main part of town and everything else. It was a great spot for a quick trip to my friend’s wedding. The room was clean, had what I needed, and the water pressure was great too! One evening we saw a massive elk hanging out and munching on trees before it sauntered off into the wooded area behind. So cool. I’d definitely stay here again.
