Pine Dale Motor Inn

The saltwater pool was a lovely way to wind down at the end of the day. Our room was clean and had everything we needed, and the staff were friendly throughout. It felt more like a mini resort than a motor inn. We had an excellent stay.

We paid $320 for one night, plus a $300 deposit, and felt watched and harassed throughout our stay at Pine Dale Motel Inn. Garpreet followed us to our car every time we went outside, trailed us to the pool, and appeared at our door without being invited. We were quiet and respectful, but were treated as if we were doing something wrong. The first thing staff said when we arrived was that we couldn't bring men or “misters” into the room. We were three young women there for a beach day in grand bend, not escorts. We were also called 3 times in ten minutes to check out while we were already getting ready. At checkout, a staff member falsely accused us of leaving our car running, which added to the unpleasant delay. I have never felt so uncomfortable or unsafe at a hotel or motel. The whole experience was invasive and unprofessional, and I would avoid this place.

The team at Pine Dale generously supports community groups throughout the year. They also went above and beyond for our recent event, with lovely decorations, a warm welcome, specialty drinks, and wonderful service.

We loved our pet-friendly room. It was clean, cozy, and really convenient, and the morning room service was great. The back garden, pool, hot tub, and sauna were all highlights. You can tell a lot of care goes into looking after the property. Thank you!
