Rob and Liisa, who are both chefs, made each breakfast delicious and memorable. We also enjoyed the solarium for an afternoon read, and my partner had a lot of fun with the popcorn maker. I even changed my mind about using a tub while travelling and took two baths. We were lucky to get the beautifully designed McMullen Suite as an unexpected upgrade. Its timeless feel and the mirror that seemed made to be admired for generations were lovely. The whole historic home felt like a trip back in time, with stories in every corner. We had the place to ourselves, and appreciated the thoughtful details: shelves of interesting books, an album about the home's pre-restoration history, and a few friendly ladybugs we took as good luck. It's a short drive to Perth, where we spent the day walking the main street with coffee, visiting a local art gallery and bookstore, and having lunch at a cozy Mexican restaurant. We left rested and inspired, already thinking about a return, though we forgot to buy maple syrup. A truly special stay, highly recommend.

We had a magical girls' weekend for the holidays with @girltrips.ca, all women. Robert and his lovely wife were such amazing hosts. The house can fit a lot of people, and the food was so good. I'd highly recommend it for several families, couples, or a girls' weekend.

We spent our wedding night at Clyde Hall Bed & Breakfast and definitely plan to return for our anniversary. The owners were warm, welcoming, and accommodating. Our little poolside cottage was pristine and had all the amenities we needed and more. The B&B is beautiful, and I only wish we could have stayed longer. Breakfast the next morning was delicious, too.

The spectacular breakfast was tailored to what each person liked, and the pool and hot tub area had a wonderfully calming view from the lounge chair. Our family rented the three-bedroom suite and regretted not staying longer. The rooms had so much character they felt like home, with more amenities than we could possibly use, from bathrobes and slippers to every kind of toiletry. We also enjoyed the different games in the sunroom. Looking forward to going back!
