Wenzler's Landing Bed & Breakfast

Our family of four, two adults and two young adults, spent a few summer days at Wenzler's Landing and loved it. The property is gorgeous, with artful landscaping around the home and lots of trees behind it. It’s a beautiful part of the world, country, and province. If you like nature, walking the grounds and watching the birds is a treat. The rooms inside were welcoming, comfortable, and incredibly clean. The two black labs were a joy, calm and friendly. Deb was a wonderful host and handled our dietary needs by making breakfasts that were both nourishing and mouth-watering. Psst, ask Deb about her fruit salad! :)

The grounds were lovely, with a couple of walking trails, and everything was well cared for. Deb was a wonderful host and made us a delicious five-star breakfast. Our room was comfortable and had everything we needed. We spent the weekend here and had such a good time. A peaceful spot for couples or families, and we'd gladly come back.

The first floor has a roomy sitting area with a fireplace and a sunroom. Debbie even leaves binoculars and bird magazines for guests, though the windy winter weather meant we didn't spot any birds. I used to work as an interior designer and now I'm an artist, so I really enjoyed the beautiful furnishings, antique pieces, Tiffany-style lamps, and all the little details. Breakfast was incredible, with generous, tasty portions, yogurt piled with berries, muffins, juice, and coffee, all served on lovely china. Our upstairs room was spacious and comfortable, with cotton linens, a recliner, a small table and chairs, TV, and a kitchenette with a microwave and coffee maker. It also had its own washroom, and there was another bathroom downstairs with a shower and tub. Towels and bathrobes with WL embroidery were provided. The house was spotless, which matters a lot to me, and the location was wonderfully quiet. Debbie works hard to make her guests feel cared for. We came back twice with the kids and loved the two-bedroom family space, with its own bathroom and separate entrance. This is the best B&B I've stayed in, at a very reasonable price. Absolutely love this place!

Debbie made a real effort for our one-year-old, setting out toys and a high chair and making little breakfast portions just for the baby. The hearty breakfasts were delicious, and the house and gardens were immaculate, with lovely wildlife around the property. We were three couples and a baby celebrating a milestone birthday, and having the whole place to ourselves made the weekend feel special. Debbie's beautiful home made us feel right at home. This was our second visit, and we'll certainly be back. Thanks for such a wonderful getaway!
