The women who work there are lovely, and their passion for the job really shows. We also had a perfect welcome and breakfast. The hostel is pleasant, with a view of the tides. The bathroom and shower are small, though, and the room gets hot even with the little fan.

We got to relax in the conservatory in the evening and enjoy its beautiful river view, thanks to the receptionist who made us feel right at home. Our welcome was warm, and the room was clean and comfortable. We had a wonderful stay and highly recommend it!

Since everything in the region is fully booked at this time of year, it feels like hotels take advantage of that. This was very poor value for money. Our room was simple but clean, though the insulation was so poor we could hear people walking down the hall to the bathroom at night, and light from the hallway came through the door. We had a private bathroom, while most rooms have shared ones, but ours was basically like a camping cabin: no ventilation, very dim lighting, and the sink was in the room. Breakfast was very basic too, just sandwich bread and canned fruit.

Breakfast is served in a Breton-style room with a superb view of the St. Lawrence River. The welcome is warm and the atmosphere friendly, and the vintage rooms are very clean.

For one night, everything was perfect: a very warm welcome and a very clean place. It is a hostel. Travelers who are demanding and perpetually dissatisfied should stay away.
