Superlodge Canada Lethbridge

This place sucks. We arrived late and had to switch rooms because the first one hadn’t been cleaned. The next room was supposed to be pet friendly, but my dog spent most of the stay cleaning chocolate off the floor. At checkout, they blamed us for stains we’d been told not to worry about. Sure, I must have brought paint in and dripped it on the floor.

We booked at very short notice for just one night, and the room did what we needed. The beds were comfortable and the standard continental breakfast was fine, though some supplies were running low. The hotel feels dated and could use updates. The main problem was the narrow, extremely steep stairs to the second floor, which were difficult for carrying luggage. Apart from that, our stay was fine.

I won’t be back. I was charged in three separate transactions, including $400 for incidentals and then $98 for the room. This place is a dump, and although the lobby was under renovation when I came two weeks ago, nothing has changed. I paid for a smoking room, but it was dirty, so I had to take a non-smoking room. If I’d known, I would’ve gone somewhere else.

I’ve stayed here for a while now, and everyone makes you feel warm and welcome. The staff are amazing, and the rooms are clean and really pleasant to stay in.
