Some of the reception staff were rude, careless, and unprofessional, which made an already awful stay even worse. One morning, while we were asleep, a woman banged violently on our door and asked if her sister was staying in our room. That left us feeling this place had no security or control over who could knock on guests’ doors. The room was freezing because the heater didn’t work, and we shivered all night. It was filthy, with dust everywhere, dead insects on the unswept and unmopped floor, and socks from previous guests under the bed. The bed was dirty, broken, and so uncomfortable that we woke with back pain. There was no hot water. We called reception four times during the night, but nobody came to fix it. The shower cabin was broken, the water wouldn’t drain, and dirty water collected there, spreading a strong sewage and toilet smell through the room. This was by far the worst place I’ve ever stayed, a nightmare from beginning to end. Terrible, unsafe, unacceptable. I don’t recommend it at all. No safety, quality, or cleanliness. Stay far away.

We paid 101 plus 10 dollars as a key deposit, and the room wasn’t what we expected. The toilet was dirty, like someone had peed and not cleaned it. The heat didn’t work, the TV was broken, and I found bedbugs in the bed. I was bitten by some of them. We were driving from Toronto to Quebec and stopped in Montreal, but I was disappointed with everything, including the service. Then someone who had slept in the room knocked on the door because she had left baking soda in the fridge. The midnight receptionist wouldn’t give me my deposit back and said only the morning person could return it. She asked me to leave my number for a call, but nobody has called me yet.

A complete waste of time and money. My check-in was after midnight on Sept 12/13, and I needed to sleep, so I asked them to change rooms because the cleanliness was so bad. The bedsheets were dirty and clearly hadn’t been handled by housekeeping, the blanket had holes, and there were spider webs on the bathroom walls. They gave me another room, but it was the same, with dirty sheets and a dirty bathroom. I decided not to stay and quickly left for another motel. Not recommended.

The bed bugs were the last straw. The sheets and towels looked like they’d already been used, and the room felt dirty all over. I was really disappointed and wouldn’t stay here again or recommend it.

The place is so run down it could pass for a horror movie set. The location is decent, though, with a bus line nearby and an easy connection to the Metro.
