Cranberry Cove Inn

The Fortress of Louisbourg is only about five minutes away, and the inn itself has plenty of pleasant places to unwind, with books, games, a piano, and cozy seating. Our room and bed were very comfortable, and breakfast was excellent for both variety and quality. With all seven rooms booked, there were lots of interesting people to chat with, including Rose, a caring and personable innkeeper. Just the sort of B&B you hope to find.

The owners were welcoming and easy to deal with, and the price felt reasonable for what we got. Breakfast really stood out, both for its quality and the care in the details. The rooms each seem to have their own style, and the place is clearly decorated with a lot of thought. Clean, distinctive, and I'd happily recommend it.

Rose and Glen made us feel at home, and you can tell how much they care about the inn. They took it over about a year ago, and their warmth and enthusiasm show throughout. The old house, once home to an Irish merchant family, has been turned into a B&B while keeping its historic character, which suits Louisbourg so well. Our room had modern comforts alongside pieces that seemed original, and everything was spotless and well cared for. We had a wonderful stay and would gladly come back. A cozy, characterful place in a historic setting.

The breakfast Glen cooked was a real surprise, absolutely top-notch. We had a comfortable bed, fresh clean linen, and a warm greeting from Rose and Glen. A lovely stay all around, and we'd happily return.
