We had a really nice stay and would go back. The room worked perfectly for me, my husband, and our two teens, with two double beds. It’s a cute setup, with a separate entrance and a small TV sitting area.

We spent three nights over Labour Day weekend. Breakfast was average, though the central location on the main drag was good. The suite also had two lights that didn’t work, and only one was fixed. Check-in was confusing. The owner wasn’t there when we arrived at 7:00, and although the key was in the letter box, there were no instructions saying the entrance was at the back. There was no cell number to call, and they didn’t answer the general line after hours. It took us ten minutes to find our room. Another couple arriving the next evening had the same problem and knocked on several doors, including ours, looking for their room. The bigger issue was the tub. It wouldn’t drain properly, so after about 15 seconds in the bath we were standing in dirty water, which reached two feet deep by the end. I told Nathalie, and she acted surprised, saying it had never happened before and nobody had complained. She said she’d check later. When we returned that evening, we were told it was fixed, but it wasn’t. I went down again and asked her to come see it. She made a face, sighed loudly, and slammed the door in our face. About five minutes later she came up, ran the tap for five seconds, and said aggressively, “see, it’s draining.” I let it run another ten seconds and the water started pooling again. Then came excuses about it being Sunday, no plumber being available, and not being able to fix it right away. Plumbers are available, they just charge more. The whole time, it felt like we were being treated as if we were complaining about nothing, until we showed the evidence. There was no apology. When we asked for a discount at checkout, they were offended. If you can’t address guests’ problems, you shouldn’t be in hospitality.

The host is lovely, the rooms are clean and tastefully decorated, and the breakfast is delicious enough to last all day. It’s perfectly placed in the heart of Magog. Like other reviewers, I’d call this a hidden gem and would definitely recommend it.

The hosts were polite and fun to talk with, and gave us great restaurant and spa suggestions along with discount coupons for many places in town. The breakfasts were amazing, and our room was very clean. It’s close to restaurants, with a level 2 EV charger on site, which was very convenient. My wife and I really enjoyed staying here, and I highly recommend it.

Michel is a Paris trained chef, and the breakfast he makes is incredible: five courses, changing daily, with just the right portions and everything delicious. Nicole was just as memorable, chatting with us and sharing invaluable tips about local activities, bike routes, places to eat, and much more. This charming B&B makes it easy to enjoy beautiful Magog, with biking, walking, dining, shops on a lively revitalized street, swimming, and boating all nearby. Our room had its own private entrance. Nicole and Michel have made the place warm and welcoming whether you’re staying a day or a week. It was my first visit, but won’t be my last. Merci Nicole and Michel!
