We chose the hotel for its historic look and loved the character of the old house. It has a lovely patina, and the squeaky floorboards had us wondering about all the years it has seen. We took loads of photos and videos. Room #3 was nice and had a spacious bathroom, though the toilet was cute and tiny. The room faces a balcony that I imagine people use in summer, but it was closed and empty during our stay. Noise from the street came through the window A/C, especially in the morning. We arrived around 20h30, after reception was unavailable, but the clear instructions made check-in easy. There was complimentary morning coffee, though breakfast itself is elsewhere. We were in Magog for our first time and only stayed one night.

The building’s history has been well preserved, and the chandeliers throughout are beautiful. We loved the quaint interior, and our room was both spacious and very clean. The sauna and hot tub are nice additions. I was surprised by how affordable it was compared with other hotels in the city, and we’re excited to visit again.

The rooms were extremely clean, the beds comfortable, and breakfast was a delicious, more upscale take on a continental spread. The hotel is charming and full of character, with an ideal spot within walking distance of attractions, shops, and restaurants. The hosts were amazing. This was our second stay, and we’re already planning another trip to Magog soon. Dan & Gen.

A very pretty hotel in a perfect location, with spacious, comfortable rooms. The main drawback was hearing and feeling people walking overhead, as if they were in our room. The floor vibrates. The place could use some care, but I’d definitely come back.
