The only thing that bothered me was hearing the vacuuming start in the rooms at 8:30 am. I think they should wait until after 10 am. Otherwise, I was very satisfied. The room was cozy and clean, and the pool and gym made it easy to keep up with my fitness routine. Breakfast was good and reasonably priced, and the hotel is affordable for either a quick visit or a longer stay.

Breakfast had a great variety, and we loved the fresh waffles and toppings, along with the eggs and sausage. Our spacious room was clean, and the staff were friendly and helpful. They also accommodated our request for a ground-floor room without any trouble. Parking was a bit tight, but understandable since the lot is small. My only complaint was feeling rushed at breakfast. The grey-haired breakfast attendant seemed hurried or bothered when people were eating after 9, even though breakfast was listed as open until 9:30. She kept announcing that it was closing and started taking things away around 9 or 9:10. It might help to schedule parties that reserve the room a little later, so hotel guests can finish while breakfast is still open. We had a lovely stay and would recommend the hotel.

I’d stay here again for sure. The location is great, close to everything, and lots of places are walkable. It’s one of the city’s more cost-effective hotels, and I was pleasantly surprised. The pool was drained for maintenance, but they left the hot tub open for us. The free breakfast was pretty good, though the coffee could use some improvement.

We had a kitchen room and were impressed with the dishes and utensils, and the shower pressure was excellent. Staff were friendly, and the kids loved the pool and hot tub. Their hours worked well for parents and adults, too. Breakfast includes a waffle maker, always a hit. The location was ideal for our weekend, close to Heritage Park and the IKEA/Costco shopping area. It’s dog-friendly, with the pet agreement limited to dogs 40lbs or under, and there are two nearby off-leash areas plus a large field half a block away. Public dog waste bags were hard to find, so bring your own. There’s parking set aside for large vehicles, but the rest of the lot is very tight if those spaces are full. The only mild disappointment was that the TV had no children’s channels, a very first-world problem.
