Samuel's Boutique Hotel

The staff really went above and beyond, and made us feel so welcome during our girls' weekend. We booked Samuel’s Boutique hotel on a whim for an overnight stay and were so glad we did. The room was amazingly clean and lovely, with comfortable beds and a spotless bathroom. They'd left fresh flowers in a vase, lit the fireplace, and put a personal note in the room, which felt so thoughtful. The complimentary breakfast the next morning was fresh, with lots of options, and a perfect end to our stay. We can't thank you enough. I wish there were more hotels like yours when we travel. Highly recommend!

They made our stay special, going out of their way to find a masseuse to come to the hotel for me. My package included daily wine and cheese, a jacuzzi tub, and breakfast delivered to our room on a lovely cart. There were fresh flowers, a birthday card, a little cake, and a small present waiting for me too. The room was beautiful and the staff were amazing. I'd give six stars if I could.

We booked on a whim after a long weekend renting a cottage in Bayfield. We weren't ready to head home and, while travelling with our two dogs, came across this pet-friendly hotel. The price was more than reasonable when I called, so we booked directly and were pleasantly surprised. The concierge at the front desk was friendly, helpful, and very welcoming. Our roomy, beautiful room was extremely clean and had no carpet. The terrace backed onto the Maitland River, and the patio door let in a nice natural breeze. Since the hotel is in a residential neighbourhood, we could take the dogs for a good walk. The shower was great, the bed very comfortable, and the TV was at least 60 inches. There was also a fireplace and a minibar, which I haven't seen in a hotel room in ages. We're looking forward to the promised European Continental breakfast in the morning. We're very pleased with this spontaneous booking and would highly recommend it.

We were in town for a friend's wedding. The room was clean and the staff friendly, and breakfast was very good, with a decent range of food and everything we tried tasting good. The room itself wasn't anything special, but nothing bothered us either. The reception was downtown Goderich and wasn't within walking distance of the hotel. We also thought the room was a bit pricey for the experience. Even so, we'd likely stay again.
