Comfort Inn

The old, maybe slightly smelly corridor carpets had me worried after reading some reviews, but I ended up having a great night. My room was clean, the bed was comfortable, and the reading chair was a 10/10. The little gym is functional too. Breakfast was the low point: I’ve never had scrambled eggs that tasted so bad, mushy and full of water. If you just need a night’s rest, this place works.

After 12 hours on the road, I just wanted to get into bed and watch a movie, but there was no TV service. I also found a used washcloth and an empty can on the floor. The room was otherwise okay. In the morning I was desperate for coffee, only to find the coffee maker broken. There wasn’t even hot water for tea. Disappointing.

I’ve never eaten there, so I can’t comment on the food. The rooms are always clean, the staff seem friendly, and the location works well. There’s usually lots of parking and plenty of exits to the lot. I always get a good night’s sleep here.

Call the front desk if you’re booking a room. The lamp lights and Keurig insert were missing. Housekeeping could have been neater before we entered: the bed-making and toilet paper refill were poor.
