The quiet here was such a treat, and we’d love to come back on a warm summer evening. Our cabin had an ocean facing deck with Muskoka style chairs, a little cafe set, and a gas fire that made the whole space cozy. Inside #5, everything felt bright and newly updated, even though many cabins look dated from outside. The walk in rainfall shower, lovely toiletries, and thick towels were a highlight. The kitchen had butcher block counters, a bar with two stools, and everything we needed to cook. There was plenty of shelving and hooks for our things, and the TV package was more than enough since we’d rather look out the window. We also changed our dates twice without any trouble and were upgraded to a larger cabin when we arrived.

We stayed in two cabins, #4 and #5, and both were really nice with great amenities. Cabin 5 felt much more deluxe. Lisa was great and even got the second cabin cleaned and ready well before regular check in. I’d happily go back anytime, and I plan to.

The inside of the cabins felt more modern than I expected, and everything was kept up well and cozy. Check in and check out were quick and easy. Outside, it’s quiet apart from the birds, with wildlife all around. We saw black bears a couple of times and a herd of elk came out each evening. The water views are gorgeous, and the stars are incredible. I’d definitely come back.

Cottage 5 has everything you need and feels high end and luxurious. Lisa is a wonderful host who really goes above and beyond. I absolutely love this spot, and it’s great value too.

Cottage #4 was such a comfortable place to sleep, and it had a beautiful view from the balcony and living area. We had everything we needed, from coffee and tea to dishes and dish towels, plus a barbecue on the balcony. The soap and shampoo were lovely, and the towels were thick and plush. Service was fantastic, and reception was lovely. It was great value, too, with easy check in and an even easier check out. I highly recommend Cedar Park Resort for a stay on the north island, and I’ll be back.
