Margaree Riverview Inn

We had a great stay at Margaree Riverview Inn. The rooms were spacious, clean, and in very good shape, and the pool was kept clean and felt safe. We hadn’t expected a full suite with a kitchenette, BBQ, and picnic table outside. The views over Margaree valley were superb. We also had a fascinating chat with the gentleman who owns the property about its history. It was a farm that rented out rooms back in 1900, then a company bought and expanded it, before the current owner purchased it in 1977. Hospitality has deep roots here.

We only had one night and two rooms in the motel, so didn’t get to try much. The rooms were surprisingly spacious, very nice, and came with a well equipped kitchen. We had a look at the pool and trampoline, both seemed good, but headed for the beach and then the Cabot Trail the next day. I’d recommend staying here.

The owner and staff have always gone out of their way to help us, and the suites are great for families or bigger groups. We’ve stayed here for over 20 years and have seen improvements over time. The rooms are clean, and we like having mini fridges. Good value for the money. We’ll be back.

It’s a nice older place for a quick stay, with clean rooms, comfortable beds, and lovely views right from the rooms. There were a few small hiccups: the hair dryer didn’t work when the girls wanted to use it, and the door glass had been smashed by previous guests, leaving little pieces around the entrance. It wasn’t really the motel’s fault, as they’d already requested a repair, but it hadn’t been done yet. I’d recommend stopping by to check it out.
