The Tower Hotel Fallsview

Our first wedding anniversary was supposed to be special, but the hotel failed us. We trusted the staff with an ice cream cake for our midnight celebration, and no one let us know there was a storage problem. By the time I found it completely melted and liquid at 11:44 p.m., everything nearby was closed. I was crying in the lobby, and the celebration was ruined. The mini fridge in our room was too small, so around 7 p.m. we asked reception to keep the cake in their freezer until midnight. They agreed and said they'd take care of it. What hurt most was the lack of empathy and accountability afterward: no advance warning, no proper response or effort to fix things, and no compensation. For a hotel where people celebrate important milestones, that service was unacceptable. I would never suggest anyone go there to celebrate anything.

The panoramic Falls view was stunning, and the room was clean. The hotel itself felt cute and cozy. We only stayed one night at The Tower Hotel at Niagara Falls, though the loud heater kept us from sleeping well. I hope they fix that for future guests.

The view from the 29th floor was fantastic, even with winter weather in January. The lifts were really quick, and the ground-floor lobby staff were lovely and helpful. My room was clean and comfortable, with a coffee machine, good Wi-Fi, and heating I could control. I had it warm when I came in from -10° and cooled it down overnight. There were plenty of places to eat nearby. The main shopping area, casino, and incline lift to the falls were all about a five-minute walk.

We loved how spotless and comfortable the hotel was, especially the modern renovation and that bathroom. Our spacious room had a very comfortable bed. Downstairs, we relaxed by the fireplace and used the tables and chairs in the sitting room for a snack. We also went up to the observation deck, which had a lovely view of the falls. The location was great too, within walking distance of the OLG stage. Can't wait to return!
