The hotel itself is in a great spot, and the staff were helpful. The restaurant was a different story. We waited an hour for beer, then another hour for the food. By then, both burgers were burnt to the point of being inedible, and the $42 beef cheeks were gone in five bites. Before ordering, the waitress said the fryer was out, so we changed our choices. An hour later, she told us they were also out of ribs and smoked meat. One of my worst restaurant experiences, 100%.

I've never had a waiter this rude. He argued with me about how I wanted my eggs, repeatedly saying I meant over easy when I asked for over medium. They came out really runny, so I sent them back, and he brought back another plate just as runny. I swear it was on purpose. Then he practically threw it down on the table. There was no service to speak of.

The shared guest kitchen was handy, and there's a good restaurant and store right on site. The bed was comfy, the shower had strong pressure, the AC worked great, and the TV was good too. Staff were bilingual, and a grocery store and bakery are close by. Great place, thanks!

Don't come to this town if you're dieting, the food is great everywhere, especially the breakfast at the guesthouse. And the bed! That was the most comfortable mattress I've slept on in probably five years. I even pulled the covers off to see what it was. Highly recommend!
