Toronto Marriott Markham

Janelle made this one of my best Marriott check-in experiences, going above and beyond to make sure we were comfortable. We had dinner at the hotel's restaurant, Draco, and enjoyed both the food and service. It was a very comfortable one-night stay, with an excellent location and a spacious, spotless, well-maintained room and bathroom.

From check-in through our send-off, the Marriott team made our Christmas visit more memorable than we expected. Special thanks to Ruzbeh, who listened when he heard Boxing Day was my birthday and arranged a birthday treat in our room. That thoughtful gesture sealed the top-notch service, and I'm very grateful. We were on the 4th floor with access to the M lounge. The full breakfasts, afternoon appetizers, and exquisite desserts were a treat throughout our stay. Our teenagers enjoyed the gym and swimming pool, and the location was convenient for many great restaurants. We had Christmas Eve dinner at Draco with our senior parents, and the food and service were great. Thank you, and hope to see you very soon. Happy New Year!

The M Club Lounge was just okay, and breakfast was about the same. The hors d’oeuvres didn’t live up to expectations, though the staff tried to make up for it by taking special orders. The hotel itself is brand new and sparkling clean, and the gym, pool, and spa are all very good. Thanks!

The M Lounge was the weakest part for me. It was one of the least fancy I’ve seen, with few choices and snacks that weren’t great quality. There was barely anything available even with big crowds, so it was the worst M lounge I’ve been to. The rest of the hotel was very nice, though. Staff were excellent, the rooms were lovely, parking was easy, and the pool and gym were nice too.
