We only ate at the restaurant, we didn’t stay at the hotel. It has a lovely, homey dinner feel, which can be just what you want on a long drive. They care about the community and display products from local businesses, like beef tallow and honey. There are lots of food options, and you can sit wherever you like. They’re known for their burgers. My partner ordered a double with bacon on top and between the patties. I wasn’t hungry, but tried a few bites without the bacon, and the burger was well seasoned. The fries were very fresh, though they needed seasoning. The service was wonderful, and the woman working last night was friendly and good at her job. Nice restaurant.

We were craving comfort food on a stormy weekend, so we picked up a Valois poutine, which we’ve enjoyed before. The service at pickup was friendly, the food was tasty as always, and the portions were huge, with plenty of cheese. Bring a hearty appetite. The price was great and the wait wasn’t long. Thanks for the food and service, we’ll see you again soon. This is a restaurant-only review.

The food was decent, but we won’t be coming back because of the service. The waitress gave my son a really mean look when he asked for a straw for his water. He has sensitive teeth and needs one for cold drinks. She didn’t ask how our meal was, and I had to ask another waitress for a coffee refill and two glasses of water. The first waitress brought them rudely. It wasn’t even busy, so I might have understood a delay if it had been.

We had a great stay after finishing our skidoo trip (RAP). Our skidoos broke down, and the owners and staff found parts and tools to help us get back on the trails. We really appreciated the hospitality. The food was great and the accommodations were clean. A great place to stop if you’re snowmobiling.

The food was terrible. My fries were burnt, greasy, and looked like they’d been cooked ten times. The chicken was so dry that I choked on the breading. My husband’s mushroom cap had such dry breading that the mushrooms flew out when he tried to eat it. The service was subpar too.
