Skyview Motel

The noise was pretty minimal on most nights, and the room had towels, face cloths, toiletries, an iron and an ironing board. Tony was incredibly kind and friendly. Our first room wasn't really up to our standards, so I called him the next morning. When we returned, he let us pick between two other rooms. A lot of places would just tell you to put up with it. Tony asks guests with dogs to clean up after them, which is understandable. We do it every time since it's common courtesy and something you're supposed to do anyway. We noticed plenty of people don't pick up after their dogs, and that's not Tony's fault.

We couldn't comment on the rooms since the motel was full and we didn't stay there. But when we were stranded in a huge snowstorm last week, Tony let us wait in the lobby and sleep overnight on his sofa for free. He also gave us bottled water and let us use his own bathroom. We're so grateful. You don't find that kind of kindness everywhere.

The appliances looked about 20 years old, and the floors were dirty. The mattress was so worn that I could feel every spring. The walls were paper thin too, so I heard the whole conversation from the next room. This place is a complete dive. I'd feel safer at Bate' s Motel.

The king bed was comfortable and the place was clean. Staff were great, too. But the walls are thin enough that I could practically hear the conversation next door, and the towels were tucked way up out of sight.
