The room was clean, fairly nice, and had the basic amenities I expected. At $65, it felt like a fair price, and yes, I’d stay again. The inside is in much better shape than the outside. When I arrived, the empty parking lot and the hotel’s closed-up appearance made me unsure, but I felt more at ease once I found the check-in at the bar area. The gentleman who checked me in was friendly. I passed a few gaming machines on the way to the room corridor. My door was tricky to open, but after jiggling it for a bit, I got in.

The owner was friendly, and the room was quiet, clean, comfortable, and everything worked. I slept well and thought the price was fantastic. The lounge was quiet too, with cold beer and good music. I’m heading back in a couple of weeks and will definitely stay again.

The room was clean, and the mattress and pillow were adequate, but the decor was dated. The AC wasn’t working, there was a fair bit of train noise, and some of the electrical work didn’t look up to code. I parked at the back, but the exits there were locked in the morning, so I had to walk through a muddy alley in pouring rain to get to my car. I didn’t get to try the food, though the Korean menu looked good.

We left after getting the room key and got no money back. The room smelled bad and was very dirty, and I felt uneasy there. The rooms looked about 28 years out of date, and there was spit in the hallway by the back door. I used to be from Melville and remember when the Classic Inn was a classy place. Sad how much things have changed. Never again.

The bacon cheeseburger with fries and gravy was the best burger I’ve had in years. Great food at a very reasonable price. Highly recommend.
