Road Runner Motel

The staff paid attention to what I needed, and the rooms had plenty of space and were clean. I paid for a week up front, then easily got a refund for the days I no longer needed, with no argument or extra fees. I was very happy with the service and my stay.

Our car broke down, so we tried to get a room around 5:46 a.m. At first, the man asked how long we wanted it for. We said just until about 10, and he told us there were no rooms. We said we could take one for the day, but got the same answer. Someone who seemed to be his father came out and spoke to him in another language, apparently asking why he wasn't renting us a room. In the end he said they were full, though it was clear to us that they weren't.

It was hard to rest with insects in the beds, and the room conditions were very poor. I found clutter, sticky flooring, and exposed wires that seemed like a safety concern. I’ve attached photos of what I saw. I wouldn't recommend staying here based on my experience.

The room was cold because the heat didn't work, and the whole place felt worn, dirty, and neglected. Getting help was frustrating too: there was often nobody at the desk, calls were barely answered, and when someone did respond, the attitude came across as dismissive and slow. Not worth the cost or hassle.
