The breakfast alone is worth making time for: it's homemade with local ingredients, generous, delicious, and kept us going all day. We booked La Nymphe des Eaux at very short notice in August 2013, and were struck by the house and the owner's warm welcome as soon as we arrived. Melissa and Stephane lived there and were attentive and helpful with every detail. The room was so lovely that we extended our stay to a second night. There are two shared bathrooms, both very clean, and at least one was always available when we needed it. We also had a romantic late-night Jacuzzi in the garden under the stars. Stephane brought us a jug of icy water, a nice touch. The upstairs balcony gave us some private time too. We'll certainly return as soon as we can.

We stayed for 3 nights and had a lovely time chatting with Morggan and the cheerful, welcoming couple. Patrice made excellent, generous breakfasts. We usually find sharing bathrooms difficult when we travel, but here it was easy and pleasant. The shared bathrooms, like the rest of the tastefully decorated house, were spotless. Thank you for a lovely stay.

The only thing I regret is not having stayed longer. Patrice and Salem showed us around, and their welcome made us feel at ease right away. The house and grounds are magnificent, and the decor is stunning. We loved being able to use the pool and spa. Breakfast made with local products was fantastic, especially the family's homemade jams. Staying here added so much to our trip.

The only small drawback was hearing the train pass nearby at night. Otherwise, we were very impressed by La Nymphe des Eaux, from the incredible house and beautiful room to the owners' warm, attentive welcome. The two shared bathrooms were very clean, so don't let that put you off. Patrice makes a fabulous homemade breakfast using local suppliers, and there's plenty of it. Thank you both, it was a real pleasure.

The conversations, comfort, and peace of the place made us want to linger, and the chocolate shop just steps from La Nymphe was a treat too. Salem, the dog, was the calmest and most affectionate we've ever met. Our two-day stay in spring 2024 remains one of our favorite experiences in the beautiful Lake Geneva region. The house dates back to 1908 and still has its authentic period charm. We had privacy upstairs, with a bedroom and bathroom, and also shared an intimate moment with the hosts downstairs in the bright dining room that felt like it belonged in a movie. Breakfast was impeccable, complete, and delicious. Thank you! ❤️
