I’ve never written a review before, since I wouldn’t want someone reviewing me, but I was so disappointed with what I paid for. The bathroom sink needed cleaning before I could brush my teeth, and I had to use sanitizer. There was hair and water staining everywhere I looked, and the washroom plug didn’t work. If I’d had another hotel option or found a rest area, I’d have slept in my truck. I can’t understand how someone can take money for a place in that condition without feeling embarrassed. The receptionist had black strips across her nose while serving me and didn’t know whether there was a hairdryer in the room. All I can say is wow.

The price seemed reasonable until I saw the room, and I feel cheated. It was shoved way at the back, with a muddy driveway, garbage cans between it and the office, and two cars blocking the space by the door. The room was only moderately clean, with a tiny bathroom-sized window. I complained and was told it was a good room, then she walked away. I was so tired that I would’ve kept looking if I thought I could get a refund. There wasn’t one outlet anywhere in the room to charge my phone, no room garbage can, and only one in the bathroom. No tub either, just a shower.

Cher at the front desk was so helpful, courteous, and kind. She even came out to our car with an umbrella so we wouldn’t get wet. The room was super clean and it was a really nice stay. Thanks for everything, Cher. I’ll be back very soon.

It’s inexpensive, so don’t expect five-star luxury, but the people are nice and the place is clean and quiet. From the moment you arrive, you feel their support and commitment. They go beyond what they have to do, and the office is there if you need it.

The floors get really cold in winter, so be ready for cold feet. Rooms 1 to 8 can also get some highway noise. The rooms themselves are decent.
